What a pleasure it is to be back in our fair city – there truly is nowhere else on planet earth like this!
I am pleased to share with you that AFSIC – Investing in Africa Conference in London, was a roaring success, and we, as Team South Africa – dare I say – certainly outshone the other country participants
When we took to the podium, the energy in the room was palpable!- (perhaps it was our rendition of Shosholoza that made it that way!)

My return is certainly timeous in view of the current strike in the port, and the impact on that it has on the economy.
My message to the unions and the strikers – let us conclude the negotiations amicably and get on with making South Africa the go-to destination for investment and growth.
The world can be our oyster! Let us work together to make it happen!
