August will be another Blue Moon month for Exporters Western Cape as we host two functions featuring two exceptional guest speakers in celebration of Women’s Month.
On Wednesday, 5 August, Ilse van Schalkwyk, Deputy Director-General: Strategic Economic Accelerators and Development at the Western Cape Government, will deliver the keynote address at The Rockefeller Hotel, 12 Christiaan Barnard Street, Cape Town Foreshore.
Her address will focus on the Western Cape Government’s four decisive action plans to improve efficiency at the Port of Cape Town, the United States’ imposition of a 12.5% import tariff and the potential impact of the RFP issued by TNPA on 17 July on the port’s facilities.
On Wednesday, 19 August, we will celebrate Women’s Month with a special Ladies’ Day breakfast. Award-winning olive oil producer and exporter Brenda Wilkinson of Rio Largo Olive Estate will provide insight into this fascinating industry.
