We had an enlightening time at our recent July event, where we delved into the dynamic world of global logistics and took a snapshot of the Port of Cape Town.
Hosted in collaboration with First National Bank, the event featured the expertise of both Barry Madhav and Clifford Blackburn, specialists in the field, who offered us a better understanding of the future of our industry.
Barry emphasized the importance the exporting industry plays in a healthy economy. Clifford used an exciting AI display to show how technological advancements could be viewed as a great tool to help our industry while still noting the importance of collaborating with the right people.
Furthermore, we had the immense pleasure of having the Port of Cape Town in attendance, with Captian Vernal James giving us an overview of all things the Port of Cape Town.
As this event marked the final function of our current financial year, we had even more to celebrate – the 20th anniversary of the CTICC! To mark this special occasion, we moved to their new venue, CTICC 1, which opened its doors on 28th June 2003.
