Another incredible EWC event and even more exceptional speakers we had the pleasure of hosting!
Wednesday evening, our EWC community gathered for a thought-provoking and uplifting event. The evening’s keynote address was delivered by Johann Kotzé, CEO of AgriSA, who shared an encouraging and forward-looking perspective on the agricultural sector and its role in South Africa’s (Western Cape especially) broader economic future. His message was both motivational and timely, offering a powerful reminder of the resilience and opportunity that exists within our local industries, if only we choose to focus on it.
We were also fortunate to hear from Annelize Crosby, who provided valuable insight into the Merchant Shipping Bill and its potential implications for the export community. Her thoughtful breakdown helped clarify this complex piece of legislation and opened up important conversations about its future impact on trade and shipping in the region.
