Our recent EWC was truly special as it was a celebration of women. Our “Women in Industry Breakfast” was an inspiring morning celebrating the strength, resilience, and leadership of women in our sector. Guests were treated to a thought-provoking keynote by Survivor contestant and business owner Antionette (Toni) Tebbutt, who shared her journey through both professional and personal challenges.
Tony’s message centered on reframing failure, not as defeat, but as feedback and growth. Through candid stories of her time on Survivor, her entrepreneurial ventures, and her personal experiences, she highlighted the importance of resilience, incremental progress, and overcoming imposter syndrome.
Her insights on “the ABCs of resilience”, from avoiding unhealthy comparisons, to embracing compound change, to finding the wins within every setback, left attendees with practical and empowering takeaways.
It was a morning filled with connection, inspiration, and a powerful reminder that failure is not the opposite of success, but often the very path to it.
