Road Freight Association CEO Gavin Kelly and customs specialist Clifford Evans will be the guest speakers at Exporters Western Cape’s June networking and information evening, where they will provide updates on developments affecting the transport, logistics and customs sectors.
Kelly will provide an overview of the current road freight landscape and the key trends shaping the transport and logistics industry, while Evans will unpack recent customs developments, including new regulations, PVoC requirements and China’s Zero-Rated Preference programme.
The event comes at a time when exporters are facing increasing pressure to remain competitive while adapting to changing trade regulations and ongoing transport challenges.
“The export environment is constantly changing,” said Terry Gale, Chairperson of Exporters Western Cape. “These events help keep our members informed about developments that could affect their businesses, while also providing an opportunity to network with others facing many of the same challenges.”
The evening forms part of EWC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Western Cape export community by creating opportunities for industry engagement and knowledge sharing.
The event takes place at the Sunsquare Hotel in Cape Town on Thursday, 25 June, with registration from 17:30 for an 18:00 start.
