Another week of good news behind the belt!

Best of all is that Michelle Phillips has bee appointed in the permanent position of Transnet CEO – dare I say EWC had something to do with this?!
We certainly punted for Michelle as after our meeting at the WCG/TNPA engagement on 13th February, she is the person to lead Transnet into the future.

We also received notification that Transnet has implemented a 4th shift effective Monday, 4th March.

CTCT also deserves an accolade for achieving 3110 TEU moves on Sunday 25th February – a record proving it is achievable – well done CTCT!

Stats for week 19 – 25 February as follows:

  • CTCT : 14530 TEU handled missed target of 16115;  12 GCH 26 SWH 22.12 hours wind & 3.36 fog delays;  12% night utilisation & 500 rail moves
