The Cape of Storms has affected port operations for the week 22 – 28/05 with 67 vessel movements, 29 incoming, 23 departure & 15 shifting’s.

A snapshot of security in the port indicated 15 tickets issued for failure to stop and 1 driving without a seatbelt – remember to please drive carefully within the port precinct, you are being watched!

Terminal Stats for week 22 – 28/05 as follows:

  • CTCT : 12657 TEU Handled, vessel ranging at 601 with 30-hour delay for MSC Adelaide; MOL Proficiency at 604 lost 14.2 hours due to ranging & Sunday terminal windbound from 1800 until 1400 29th (Monday)
  • CTMPT: 1015 actual vs 1159 target with delays experienced due to rain and fog
  • FPT :  6 vessels handled, 1 container, 3 Multi cargo & 2 Dry bulk: 502 TEU, Dry Bulk 27528.45 MT, Dry bulk direct 10926.20 MT, 23.8 MT & Fruit 4272 pallets
