Dear Colleagues,

As we are now well into the 2nd half of January 2026, the holidays are in our distant memory, we can feel ourselves re-energized and ready to face whatever this year brings us!

This is the 1st week we’ll be bringing you updates from the terminals and as there is good news out there, please read on……

Even though CTCT was affected by wind delays for over 37 hours, the terminal was over target and in fact, on Tuesday, 13th January, 4092 TEU was handled – almost a record, methinks!

If CTCT can work at this consistency, it would handle over 28000 TEU per week – so it can be done!!

EWC has acknowledged this milestone and conveyed our congratulations to the Transnet Team and those on the ground as well.

In today’s world of misinformation, we must share the Good News!
