By the time you read this, many of the votes would’ve been counted and our 1st winter rain has fallen, this is certainly something to celebrate.
Wednesday showed us that the South African Democracy works which is something we as a nation, can be proud of.
We have come a long way and the celebration of Africa Day Last week, proved this with the participation of many African business delegations being present at this event.
Terminal Stats for week 20 – 26/05 as follows:
- CTCT: 1110 TEU Handled target 16371; 15 GCH 29 SWH,17.3 hours wind delay; 30% night moves, 358 rail moves, 30% Stack occupancy
- CTMPT: 1352 TEU handled target 1518, 12 GCH 14 SWH, 3 hour wind delay 24% stack occupancy
- FPT: 77% Berth occupancy, 8 vessels handled: 3 Multi cargo 2 container 1 Dry Bulk 2 B/B; 1446 TEU handled, 27986.6 MT Dry bulk; 1512.76 MT General Cargo B/B, 5192 pallets fruit
- Equipment Update: LC1, LC5 & LC6 out of operation, only 6 STS operational; 25 RTGs & 42 hauliers operational
