Dear Colleagues

This is a special edition of Good News Monday as we spread the word the Boks are bringing home the Webb Ellis Trophy, for the 4th time!!!

Can even feel the winds of change at our port as TNPA host an in-person meeting on the outcome of the Benchmark Study Recommendations from the PWC study this week.

With Michelle Phillips at the helm, we are sailing in the right direction and let’s all work together as a nation to achieve the goals we have set to achieve – let’s make our Boks as proud of us as we are of them.

This is one of the most exciting times in our 29½ year history as a full democracy and did something that no politician can do – it united our country!!

The stats for week 16 – 22/10 are heavily affected by wind delays & equipment challenges, as indicated below:

  • CTCT: 9568 TEU, GCH 12 SWH 27, 52.2 hours wind delay, only 163 rail moves, LC1 & LC4 out of operation, dredging operations ongoing, should be completed within a week, short tension units – awaiting ETD Rotterdam ditto 7 RTG ex LA;
  • CTMPT : 1547 TEU target 1834, GCH 17 SWH 18; 17 hour wind delay
  • FPT :  Berth Occupancy : 34%, 5 vessels handled, 2 Multi cargo, 3 dry bulk, 437 TEU, 28234.74 MT Dry bulk, General Cargo B/B : 1235.12c MT

Moving forward……we can see the Goalposts!
