As this industry is a great creator of job opportunities, it is essential we get our port system back to a world class operation. – this is up to us!

Our termimal stats for week 13 – 19/05 as follows:

  • CTCT : 16013 TEU handled target 16757, GCH 13 SWH 27; fog delays 15 hours 24% night shift 269 Rail moves STS LC1 & LC5 out of operation, 25 RTG currently additional 2 to cme back on stream
  • CTMPT : 2119 TEU handled target 864 10 GCH 12 SWH – major delays experinced on Friday 17th due to equipment failures which impached heavily on terrminal productivity & Nele Maersk stach had ti be extended by 24 hours, tranport congestion
  • FPT :   84% occupancy, 8 vessels handled, 4 Multi Cargo, 2 container, 2 Dry Bulk : 2371 TEU, 27927.02 MT; General Cargo B/B : 223.09 MT; Fruit : 4705 Pallets – excellent week!

The above gives a snapshot of what is achievable through drive and passion is there, an interesting indication of what cabn aspire to!
