Best news of the week is that the committee of Exporters Western Cape made the unanimous decision to retain our membership fees for the 23/24 financial year starting 1st August, 2023.
This was taken in cognisance of the importance of the export industry to the Western Cape economy and to encourage export orientated companies to come on board, if not already a member.

The PoCT activity for the week 26/6 – 02/07 as below:
- CTCT : 13470 TEU handled budget 14493, Monday 16 hours wind delay and LC@ was out with LC7 now operational; 4 hour system failure, 9% night & 349 rail moves;
- CTMPT: 2207 TEU handled against target of 2860; all equipment operational with no challenges.
- FPT: Berth Occupancy 30%; 5 vessels 2 container, 3 Multi cargo; 1418 TEU handled, 490.87 breakbulk, Fruit 1679 pallets.
