Dear Festive Friends
As we take stock of the past 12 months, there is much to be excited about, especially for us in the Western Cape!
The Government of National Unity has restored our creditability on the Global stage, and this was no more evident than at my recent attendance and participation at the 25th Hong Kong Forum last week – the annual gathering of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, a unique network of 48 Hong Kong Business Associations in 37 countries and regions with over 11000 individual associates.
It felt as if all eyes were on the Global South and South Africa in particular as we play hosts to the G20 for the next 12 months, truly a time for us to shine.
We can be so proud of our achievements and how we have overcome adversity to be where we are today – moving forward it can only get better – Africa is Now – and we are blessed to live on this continent, with the youngest and most vibrant spirit – our energy is palpable!
On this euphoric note, on behalf of the Exporters Western Cape committee, members and friends, may the joy peace and joy remain with you through 2025 – we have great things instore for you!
